KIPP Austin Leadership Elementary is a dual language elementary school in which students learn in a dual language environment. In K-2, all students spend half of the day learning in English, and half of the day learning in Spanish. Our third and fourth graders begin to experience what it will be like to be in middle school and travel between four classrooms: Reading, Writing, Math and Science. At KIPP Austin Leadership Elementary, all students receive a rigorous, college preparatory education with a strong focus on Leadership, Community Service, and character development. Our students also get to experience Excellence classes each day! These classes include P.E, Dance, Music, Art and a class devoted to social-emotional learning.
- In 2017, 44% of all 1st grade students and 43% of all 2nd grade met their College Ready MAP growth goal in Reading according to the MAP Assessment.
